It is an elaborate, extensive and expensive infrastructure that took many years to build, but we did it!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In fact, this bike lane network is so good that we actually allow cars to travel in the bike lanes! (They keep the bike lanes free of debris.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To most folks who see it for the first time, they think that those narrow right lanes are simply common traffic lanes, but cyclists down here know better. Our law says that if the lane is narrower than 14 feet (and all of them are) it is an automatic bike lane!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tailwinds from Dallas!
